Jorge Monares
He began working as an artisan 25 years ago, with the help of his father in his workshop. When he was older, Jorge formed a new family and workshop where he produces a wide variety of products. He works with copper sheets, thick copper and bronze, shaping it by hand and designing colonial pieces or new designs according to foreign market demands. Some of his most popular items include masks, antique-style pans, keyrings, necklaces, brooches and jewelry.
